From a very young age, cradled by the swaying rhythms of zouk, dancehall, and French variety music, SevenStyle was immersed in a rich and vibrant musical melting pot. With Afro-Caribbean (Martinican and Guadeloupean) and Vietnamese roots, this talented DJ cultivated a keen ear and an insatiable passion for all styles of music. Born in Marseille in 1985, he grew up in the Paris region before returning to settle in the Phocaean city at age 22 in 2007. It was there that his career took off, becoming a resident DJ at Bazar, Palmeraie, and Elysée, three major venues on the Marseille electronic music scene.
Lulled by Michael Jackson's spellbinding melodies from childhood, SevenStyle was later seduced by Usher's R&B, paving the way for a voracious passion for hip-hop, a genre intimately linked to this musical movement. His electrifying sets, masterfully blending urban influences and electronic sounds, quickly earned him recognition beyond the borders of Marseille. He was invited to perform at the famous Bounce Club and to mix at the prestigious annual Marseille festival, Beach Soccer.
In 2021, SevenStyle flew to Toronto, where he created "La French," (with 2 partners) a quarterly event bringing together the city's Francophone community and surrounding areas. A true ambassador of French culture, he also joined the team at Excuse My French, a collective organizing exceptional parties in the heart of the Canadian metropolis. With his fusion of musical influences and contagious energy, SevenStyle stands out as an extraordinary DJ, capable of setting dance floors ablaze with his electrifying sets, masterfully blending urban, electronic, afrobeat and Caribbean influences.
